Tamyr turns thirty

The channel started in 1992 with a programme called Sängeldäk, which means cradle. By its thirtieth birthday it had nine TEFI-Region statuettes.

Bireshmä means “don’t give up”. The republic handed out its first children’s award that spring, and one of the three special prizes went to me as a young Tamyr correspondent.
