Rustem Mugalimov died in April 2024. I built the film from interviews with his family, his colleagues and his friends, and from what I remembered of driving around the republic with him on a project about large families.
In one of his own interviews he said his job was to leave a social mark. That line ended up holding the whole film together.
It aired on television and in 2025 won its category at the fifth International Student Awards, run by YTB.
