A museum guide that starts talking when you walk up to an exhibit.

No QR codes and no searching. You walk, the nearest exhibit becomes active, the story starts. The screen stays almost empty so it does not compete with the audio.
The hard part is noise. Bluetooth signal strength jumps by tens of decibels, so a plain threshold flips between exhibits several times a second. I smoothed the signal and gave the switch two thresholds instead of one, far enough apart that it stops chattering at the edge. Tested on real beacons and a real iPhone.
It reads the labels out loud, so a blind visitor can walk a museum without anyone leading them. Second place out of sixty-five projects.
