I was ten and played the lead. The film reached the TEFI-Region finals in two categories and won a Bronze Orpheus at TEFI, Russia’s main television award.

The film comes from Ural-batyr, the Bashkir epic, and from the legends around the Shulgan-Tash cave. It was the first time I saw how a film set works from the inside, and I have stayed in film ever since.
